DY Patil Dnyan Prasad University (DYPDPU) organized a 30 hour overnight Hackathon DYPDPU Hackathon1.0 on March 7-8 at Pune. The Hackathon saw a participation of more than 150 participants from 40 teams including students, startups and developers.
The 40 teams were shortlisted from more than 2000 entries received across India.
In a true spirit of democratizing opportunities, DYPDPU and TalentFarm.ai encouraged greater participation from tier-2 and tier-3 towns of Maharashtra.
The bubbling talent of the students from these smaller towns and relatively unbranded colleges was a revelation.
The Hackathon success can be attributed to the fact that more than 30 senior mentors from the Pune ecosystem visited and shared their valuable inputs and encouraged the participants to continue this journey of Innovation.
The participants built a range of applications from sustainability to algorithmic trading, financial advisor to GenAI legal aid. The solutions were built on cutting edge technologies like GenAI, AI/ML, IoT and Blockchain.
TalentFarm.ai was the platform partner for the Hackathon.
