MATHack was one of the largest AI Hackathon conducted ever with more than 6,000 registrations including startups, developers and students across India.
The event was organized by MATH (Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence Technology Hub, a joint venture CoE between T-Hub, Government of Telangana and Department of Science and Technology, Government of India
MATHack was a 30 hour Hackathon with TalentFarm.ai as the Hackathon Platform. The entire Hackathon life cycle from Ideation, shortlisting to final pitches were recorded, curated and evaluated on TalentFarm.ai platform.
The prizes were given by the Past NASSCOM President Mr. BVR Mohan Reddy, T-Hub CEO Mr. Mahankali Srinivas Rao in the presence of more than 400 leaders from Industry and Academia at a grand Gala event organized by MATH.
The Hackathon prizes included Rupees 5 lakhs in cash prizes, incubation support at T-Hub and Market Access.
The Hackathon saw a participation of 150 participants shortlisted to be present for the physical/in-person Hackathon and others joining online.
The Hackathon was very well organized with more than 50 top notch Industry mentors, Domain experts and Investors visiting and interacting with the participants during the 30 hour Hackathon.
The participants went through two rounds of Jury shortlisting to win the final prizes.
The first Prize was won by a startup Salubrity, which has built a AI based nutritional diet recommendation for hair loss control and regrowth
The First runner up was a team of women participants from Nellore who built a solution for financial inclusion and the second runner up was a team of women participants from GNITS women’s college with their solution on mental wellness especially with the challenges caused by social media and excessive usage of mobile phones.
It was a proud moment for TalentFarm.ai team to be chosen as the Hackathon platform for such a prestigious event and it served as a great branding opportunity for TalentFarm.ai
