TalentFarm.ai launched The Global Ai Academia Alliance here at T-Hub, Hyderabad on 17th May 2024 as part of the MATHADEMIA 2024.
A MoU was signed between TalentFarm.ai , MATH (Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence Technology Hub, A CoE by T-Hub and DST, Government of India) and more than 60 Universities and colleges across the country covering North, NorthEast, EAST, West and South are part of this Alliance.
The objective of this Alliance is to bring Industry and Academia together and nurture Talent in Ai by problem solving approach, conduct joint research activities, incubate student startups, exchange best practices and continuously engage to make India a global leader in Ai.
As part of this initiative, a special portal MATH.TalentFarm.ai has been launched. More than 150 mentors have been on boarded by TalentFarm to support grooming of Talent by Industry practitioners. 50+ Industry partners have come forward to share problem statements and challenges across agriculture, Healthcare, Finance, Education, Manufacturing to name a few. Curated Learning content is also provided on the platform.
Speaking on the occasion, Pankaj Diwan, the Sutradhar of this initiative mentioned” Ai presents a once in lifetime opportunity to establish ourselves as global thought leader. It is important from Academia and Industry to come together for building a robust Ai ecosystem and seize this opportunity”
Speaking on the occasion, Rahul Paith, CEO of MATH mentioned “Talent is of great importance for building a strong Ai startup ecosystem. MATH is committed to support the Academia and nurture Ai talent”
Speaking on this occasion, Dr. JN Murthy, Director, GRIET, a prominent college based out of Hyderabad said ”We would like to thank TalentFarm.ai and MATH for this wonderful initiative. This is the need of the hour and we should all join together in empowering our students for the opportunities in Ai.”
